As someone who also works in customer service and has had their fair share of horrible clients with terrible attitudes, I have never stepped out of line to disrespect and embarrass them. After all, your customers are what either make or break your business and I'd never jeopardize my employment status stepping out of my character to "correct" or offend the customer.
My wife and I were very pleased with all aspects of our experience as usual. The wait time was short; the cleaning was very thorough as well as the exam. Our experience was very friendly as well as professional.
As I've previously stated, I've been going to this place for years (practically grew up here) and I've never had a horrible experience until today. I had scheduled an appointment at 12:00 p.m., however I was coming from Maryland (my school is about two hours away) and hit an enormous amount of traffic. Since I'm a loyal customer to this place, I figured I'd commit to driving out to Virginia every six months because I enjoyed the people so much. I called them early and made them aware that I was in traffic and told them I'd be 15 minutes late (which was what my GPS said at the time) but that 15 minutes turned into 30 because of the amount of accidents and construction which was unpredictable. By the time I got there, it seemed like everyone had an attitude, which I understand that by me arriving 30 minutes after my scheduled time does push everything back. However, I did apologize to Dr. Carino and was under the impression that that would ease everyone's apparent irritation. But everything immediately went south as soon as I was checking out with Stephanie. The subtle insults she made towards me in regards to my punctuality and character were appalling and absolutely uncalled for. And by the way, this was my FIRST time arriving late to an appointment out of the 10 years I've been going here.
Apparently, Stephanie is the "office manager", whom I've never came across that I can recollect. I'm disappointed to cut ties with this place after so many years of successful business but I do not, in any way, tolerate anyone disrespecting or offending me.

I've been going to this place for almost 10 years but I will never set foot in this place again. I've never felt so uncomfortable and disrespected by people at the front desk before in my life. The customer service, or I should I say, LACK of customer service was unbelievable. I assume this woman named Stephanie was having a bad day and decided to take out all her frustration out on me in a very passive-aggressive way.
Anyway, I hope this helps anyone thinking of considering this dentistry. May you have a much more pleasant experience than I did.
Very efficient. Professional, courteous and thorough. We've been going for a few years and will continue to be there for years to come.
