Always like shopping a Wegmans it's an experience! Fresh meats, fresh produce and great customer service. Also their wine selection is unmatched (if offered in your state). Highly recommend!
I love Wegmans, and this one is a little out of my way but it is worth it to beat the crowds of the Fairfax Wegmans or the commute to the Woodbridge Wegmans.
FLORAL DEPARTMENT EXCELLENT! I went to numerous floral shops and the flowers just weren't to my idea of quality... Came here and completely different story! Healthy and Beautiful Flowers! I was coordinating a bridal shower and had a certain vision! These ladies were on it and take pride in the quality of their flowers and it shows! We ended up having some of the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen! They were very patient with me and took the time to provide excellent service and go above and beyond my expectation! I am definitely hands down coming here again! I also recommend them to friends and family!
I just had a great shopping experience at Wegmans in Gainesvilla, VA. I came with a pretty extensive list including gluten-free and dairy-free options and was able to find everything I was looking for very quickly. I am a fan of the layout in this store and the employees are more than helpful when you have to ask for clarification on an items location.
Unfortunately, some popular products (still found on Amazon with many good reviews) have been surprisingly dropped over the years. Unclear if it’s the result of management or the unhealthy habits of the population it serves or both. When they first opened, they had a greater selection of non-dairy alternatives. Although they have expanded the number of tasty Gluten Free options (i.e., like especially the Market Place\Vegetarian\Vegan aisles) and their Snack Favorites line is a decent alternative (if one must have snack food). At the moment, they do carry Good Karma’s (GK) flax-based products, which are low fat, protein-packed, calcium and omegas-enriched products, which are healthier than many other non-dairy options (strangely, GK’s non-dairy milks are located among the regular milk in the Dairy Section). And, although they carry some GK yogurts; they don’t carry GK’s Plain yogurt nor any of GK’s delicious Egg Nogs (I drive elsewhere for these along with more online shopping these days). Another healthy non-dairy alternative they carry is Suzie’s Quinoa milks (I do add a packet of sweetener for a livelier and still delicious taste). Although I continue shop here, spend less than I used to.
Shout-out to the guy who helped me find minced garlic and the extremely professional and courteous check-out lady who rung me up on my way out.
