Just got food here tonight. Brought it in to work and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. It definitely deserves the high reviews and the awards they advertise on their window. Some of the best BBQ in VA. Willards was my prior favorite but this place will definitely get more of my business as I find myself needing BBQ while in the area.
This trip, I got the pulled pork sandwich + sweet corn (on the cob) and the pork cheese fries appetizer. Came in around $15.
First time stopping in on the way to work got the sampler had half a chicken couple ribs some brisket and some pulled pork very good they were quick too I was hungry, it tasted so good, I ate most of it on the way to work, so full had to save the chicken for dinner
We ate here today because was voted the best bbq 2017 according to blah blah review. I'll be judge to that! This place is nothing compared to The Pit in North Carolina. The pulled pork was dry and no taste and warm..the beef brisket was also Dry and no taste and cold! but the chicken is the only hot and tasty and freshly cooked among the 3 meat Platter that we ordered who ever voted this place as best bbq well...never a true bbq eater and never been to southern states were bbq is really the best. I wish I Could have my money back. Don't waste your money. Just order chicken instead.also the the corn bread I liked it. The coleslaw and the baked potato not also good. The fries well looks like was been heated under the high wattage light.
Get ready for an experience that will take your sense of taste and smell to another level. This is my favorite BBQ spot in NoVA. The consistency of the food brings me back. The friendly staff keeps me eating in rather than taking food to go. A solid variety to keep a nice rotation of food. The chili, pulled pork, honey bourbon wings, and corn bread are my go-to favorites. Stop in, relax, and enjoy some good BBQ. And if near Thanksgiving, ask them about smoking a turkey for you.
Good to have Texas BBQ in the neighborhood. Really good flavor and the meat is cooked perfectly.
